What J likes about Alpha Gourmet Cafe:
Hole in the wall sort of place, seems quite homely but also quite popular and busy. There were always people walking in, so much so that it was difficult to get a seat for a group of people. very good. elaborate to boot. but very good. we were a group of 6 who were too busy talking and catching together to give the menu a close attention, so we went with the $65 set menu that was pretty good. the mouth is the drinks. they can take their own, but it is certainly not like their suburb byo and the wine, champagne and ghost are all expensive. an appetizer drink and two bottles of wine, oh and the foam water....
