Enjoyed Saturday night dinner with the family at this modern eatery located at the Kings Cross end of Victoria Street. Loved the ambience, great service and delicious meals. I had the steak, cooked medium rare with garlic butter, spinach and mushrooms. It was beautifully cooked and very satisfying although the garlic in the garlic butter was very subtle. What Ricardo Nemirovsky doesn't like about Bloody Mary's Gazebo:
We came to Gazebo based on previous good reviews and we could sit outside and bring our dog, so it was the perfect combo. Unfortunately the quality of the food was mediocre . The fried calamari was the only nice dish we had. The hummus and arancini were average at best. We had two pastas for main dishes. We had four in our party including two undemanding teens. We all found the crab linguini inedible. It is not often... View all feedback.
I went to **** Mary’s because I was curious about **** Hell: Chilli infused vodka served with shrimp, beef slider buffalo wing. It’s an interesting combination and I wouldn’t mind trying it again. Also tried There's Something About Mary: gin, mint, strawberries, cucumber lime; also good.
The ambiance of this restaurant is great, with outdoor and garden seating options. I would rate the overall atmosphere as 4.5 out of 5. The salmon with eggs looked appealing, although I cannot comment on the taste. I would give it a 4 out of 5. The toasted granola was not to my liking, as it was too crunchy and had too many cereals. I would rate it a 3 out of 5. The flat white with almond was enjoyable, and the addition of a small chocolate kiss was a nice touch. I would rate this item a 4.5 out of 5.
My colleagues and I decided to have our weekly Thursday work lunch at this restaurant. The ambiance was pleasant and the menu seemed appealing. I decided to try the spanner crab pasta while we also shared some hot wings. One of my coworkers ordered a Bloody Mary and found it to be just okay. Another colleague had the macaroni and cheese along with the prawns and jalapeños, and thought the food was mediocre. Overall, I enjoyed my meal for our Thursday lunch, but it seemed to be hit-or-miss with some of my coworkers.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing tho a little on the cold side but I wasn’t fussed. Hot choccy was So good
Beef Burger : Great <br/ Chilli Crab Pasta : Amazing <br/ Crispy Skin Salmon : Amazing <br/ **** Mary : Good <br/ There’s Something About Mary : Amazing <br/ <br/ Dying to come here ... and I finally have. The Beef Burger was super juicy and the fries were the crispiest shoestring fries I have ever had (and I’ve had beyond my fair share of fries). The Chilli Crab Pasta was delicious and the serving size was not stingy. The addition of the basil on top made it all come together. The Crispy Skin Salmon was super delicious. The skin was crispy and the meat was soft which went well with the potatoes and the veg. This was my first time trying a **** Mary and I have say that it was not my cup of tea. For the **** Mary lovers out there it probably tasted amazing but I can’t judge fairly here. Something About Mary was a cocktail for big kids. Sweet and sugary with fairy floss on top, it is a must try if you have a sweet tooth or love a fruity cocktail.
