Good service and good food. The staff are very attentive and the food is delicious. We ordered Platter B and all the meat tasted amazing, especially the wagyu and chicken! The spicy octopus stir fry was nice and spicy, but the octopus was too chewy. The fried chicken was well seasoned and super crunchy. Some sides are different to the usual ones given at other BBQ places but I loved them all. View all feedback.
What Tyson Hane doesn't like about Dae Jang Kum:
While the place seems to do well with Chinese clientele looking for a place to try out Korean cuisine, the standard in essence is bland (positive) or plainly unsatsfactory (negative). I guess the level of satisafaction could depend on whether you are just wanting have a casual lunch or dinner or you are actually wanting to eat out. There are clearly some better options View all feedback.
Average Food, dirty place, they even caught a mouse or something like that in front of eyes! Never again for sure
The wagyu was amazing. Cooking the meat yourself is also fun. They give everyone a lot of delicious entries for free. The staff were friendly. We will go there again
We were recommended to this Korean restaurant while in Sydney. Not far from World Square. A fuss free atmosphere but the food was really good. Big serves in fact we couldn't eat it all. It was very busy, so it appears to be a popular place to go. We shall go again.
Visited again and great bbq and fantastic service. Offered us some extra sides and sauces. Highly Recommended.
They cut down their side dishes from six to three even though my meal was $15. I felt shortchanged They have closed part of the downstairs. Not surprised.
