We were just going to grab something to eat before a show and wanted it to be quick. Bumped into this place, very Japanese like, walk through one door and order, pick up tray and take it to the counter to pay. Then bring tray back. The ramen with egg was fantastic and so was my partner's tamura Udon. The noodles were so fresh and broth was great. The tonkosu broth wasn't as thick as Ippudo but it was still rich and d... What Magali Hahn doesn't like about Genki Sushi:
This 1-point is for the staff, the brilliant customer service. Even sushi hub makes better maki roles than this, just a little disappointed. The Maki Rolls (pictured) showed how unrestricted you make Sushi, I did not expect you to use the pre-cut Sashimi, which is obviously for Nigiri, but it costs more than near outlets like Umi, Sushi Hotaru, Sushi Rio. This is Japanese fast food restaurant located inside Sky Plaza. They are expertise in noodle/rice/ half boiling eggs serving with chicken/ beef/ pork/ beef. If you are typical having lunch in big portions, maybe this restaurant is not suite for you because they serve in small bowl or else you need to order 2 portions. Price ranges start from $10 to $17.
Tasty and cheap ramen noodles here Sydney. Very popular and recommended for ramen and it's always packed with customers. They have quite many choices of ramen and also fried food. Price was very reasonable and portion was quite filling. Grab a quick lunch here!
Another place I would rate more than 5 stars. This place is incredibly nostalgic for me so I may be a bit biased when I say this is the best cheap Japanese and udon eatery in the city. You can’t go wrong with any dish here. The udon is perfectly bouncy and the soup is delicious. Also discovered that they have set meals that come with a dessert too for around $13 which is a steal. You can choose between ramen and udon for the noodle dish, a rice dish with a variety toppings and a dessert. Definitely recommend getting the desserts as a side too, both hojicha and ichigo mousses are amazing.

Even better were the prices, approx $25 for two bowls. You can't go wrong with that.
My second visit to this Japanese noodle shop in Sydney CBD. Had Ramen and Udon, lotsa variety for add on, fast serving and decent portion with affordable price. It 's efficient with one queue in and out to manage crowd. Good concept of no 'hoarding ' tables before getting your food and put your own tray to the designated area after your meal.
