I liked this place and always did.I first went here in 1990 something and it hasn't really changed which is nice. The pizzas are nice the restaurant does get busy so book. Its not far from Circular Quay at the end of George st near the Four season. Good food, cheap at the price, great pizzas and a nice atmosphere read more.

What User doesn't like about Giovanni's Restaurant & Pizzeria:
Restaurant no longer exists. Closed because of building alacerations. Pity we used it frequently. There's a new place During in the courtyard. Not bad but not Italian. Nearest good one is Apetito. read more.

"Follow up review: despite a disappointing experience in the restaurant as noted below, Mike (owner) had sent us a follow up message to apologise and offered for damage control. To which, we really appreciate. My expectation for good restaurant would entails good food, lovely atmosphere, and thoughtful service. This Farmhouse is a very small restaurant, with only one long table available for everyone to share. Not much privacy. Jazz and candle helped with the atmosphere. At booking, I was told there will be candle prepared for birthday man. Not only they completely forgot, but when I mentioned to them in the end, no signs of genuine sorry was seen, it was a "oh I am sorry, it is $144 please". Terrible service. Entry was really lovely, main course was large, tasted ok, lots of fish bone, small but still quite unpleasant, and dessert was creative, can't say it was good. Overall, will never come back here for another celebration or anything."
