I have been in here since it is open. I always have a good reason to come back. Staffs could change over the year but food pretty consistent. service can be a bit annoying when new staff with very little ability of English understanding. but for the price wise this place is a good place to sit and enjoy your Udon in the city. What mrdom doesn't like about Mappen Noodle Restaurant:
I like soba and thought this would be a good opportunity to have some with a tonkotsu soup. Well the noodles were good but the soup had a weird taste that might have been ok if it wasn’t so watery I didn’t see it properly but it looked like their method was actually to add the requested soup as a concentrate then water it down from a big urn. Really in the mood for some noddles. Decided to try for the first time Mappen. The udon was cool and the taste underwhelming. Will be the last time visiting.
