At the bond cafe I got eggs Benedict and a latte. Absolute pleasure to go there. The eggs were very well cooked, on a bed of delicious salmon, spinach, and sourdough toast, which didn't go soggy. The sauce was excellent and made for a pretty dish, and there was just the right amount. My latte tasted great, albeit a touch cold, but smooth and creamy, finished nicely and well presented. Ugh my coffee was watery. This place is best left for business meetings not for food. Anything inside the GPO is easy on the eye hence feels a little impressive. The table service is dressed to impress and are lovely. The breakfast menu has changed its not appealing... just toast, bland toasties and a couple of bakery options.
