My husband found this little gem. It was great for his parents to get the train to Sydney and they only had a small walk to get to the restaurant. Wonderful surrounds and people watching on Macquarie Street. Food was delicious and sensible portions. The salmon salad was a standout as well as the brisket. Highly recommended. View all feedback.

This restaurant was recommended to us. I ordered the chicken and when I cut into it, it was pink. I spoke to the waitress, who offered me another chicken or something else from the menu. As I had been put off by the pink chicken, I declined. She told me I would not be charged. When we went up to pay our bill, the chicken was on the bill. Tuesday night, 7pm - managed to get the last table for 2 insideThere was a function going on up the back so it was probably noisier/busier than usual.
It might be called Fix St James, but this place needs no fixin'.
