What User doesn't like about Song Kitchen:
The breakfast was adequate......well served, clean, good waiter service.....Dinner was a different story......nicely presented, well cooked, nice atmosphere. a bit pricey, especially the wine, a glass of Chardonnay was $12.50, in a big glass didn't look very much....the brandy and dry we ordered came back as a whiskey and dry....when taken back as a mistake , they calmly said "they didn't have Brandy", so we ordered... I recently discovered Song Kitchen while staying in the area and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant's concept of supporting the YWCA to protect women is fantastic, and the food and atmosphere were both excellent and reasonably priced. The menu offers a wide variety of options, all of top quality. We enjoyed dishes such as duck salad with fennel, scotch fillet with crab angel hair pasta, salt and pepper squid, and a delicious Iranian ice cream. The waitstaff were attentive and efficient, making for a great dining experience. I highly recommend visiting Song Kitchen to support their important work.
I went to this restaurant for dinner with a friend and had a great time. The decor was modern, clean, and cool. We received a warm welcome and were seated promptly, even though we had arrived early and had a choice of tables. The menu wasn't extensive, but had a variety of options for everyone. The wine list was also impressive. If I'm ever in the area again, I would definitely return to this restaurant.
The bar and dining area have a modern atmosphere. The staff are polite and attentive. Leo, the maitre d', is very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list selection.
Delicious tasty and interesting food served with charm and efficiency. Best gluten free bread. As a person with Coeliac disease, it was a treat to have such a choice. Thanks ver much
Best dinner choice for the first night at Sydney, highly recommended for the ambiance and quality of meals
