"AMAZING! This place has some of the best BBQ I've ever had. Everything had tons of flavor. The meat by itself was delicious. No sauce needed. However for someone that loves sauces, this place had them all. Some of the most interesting, complex and well put together flavors. Our server was excellent. Courteous friendly and helpful! I'm from out of state and I'm planning my next trip near here just so I can get some great BBQ again."

"My Family and I came here this evening for the first time. The place was packed! We were seated immediately which was nice. Our waitress was really nice and kept up on our refreshments. The sweet tea is really good. We had ordered the large Greek Salad for the table. It was good. Ordered the Pepperoni pizza and also the Margarita pizza. The pizzas came out burnt. So it was alright. My Husband ordered French fries and I literally spit them out. It tastes just like oil. It was disgusting. The food is just okay. This restaurant is very popular with the regulars. The prices are a little high."

"The location was beautiful, the atmosphere was laid back, and the food was delicious. The service was friendly. Only negatives were: it was hot, there was no ac, and there was only 1 ceiling fan inside. We forgot our to-go box with a full sandwich and half the fries in it (literally like $15+ worth of food) and realized it before we got to the front door but by the time we turned around to get it they had thrown it out. Wish they had taken the time to see if we had left beforehand. So don't forget your to-go box!"

"This is quite possibly the best burger I've ever eaten. I ordered, Waited about 10 or 15 minutes, got my food and it was GREAT! This burger was like something off TV. Huge burger dripping in toppings and cheese but the bun wasn't soggy AT ALL!! They have some odd hours but that's their business and they can run it how they want. I'll be there whenever they're open and I'm in town. This is not the best burger in Cherokee but in my opinion the best burger in all of NC."

"JPH might be the best breakfast restaurant this side of the Mississippi. A gem in the Smokies! Amazing to see so many employees working in one place in these times… and all with a smile! Jeff is the most attentive and kind waiter I’ve ever experienced in the restaurant industry. The service is unbeatable. No wonder this place has been a Maggie Valley staple for all these years. Definitely don’t miss out on Joey’s."

"I have to say after reading some of the reviews, I was a little hesitant. However, I was greeted by a great young man behind the counter. Who was both pleasant and helpful. He help me make a decision from the menu, (which I was not a single bit disappointed. I thought the decor was bold, but very chic. Something that will cause this place to stick out in my mind. I’ve left many bad reviews, and not hesitant to do so. However after my experience. I wonder if the other reviews were possibly just grouchy people? My visit was the complete opposite! Thank you for the great coffee and pleasant stop in our travelswill come again"
