Whether you are a local or not, this wonderful little restaurant is a must try for ALL! Best Seafood Chowder from anywhere I travel, silky smooth and full of ALL of Alaskan quality. read moreThe Wildflower Cafe in Talkeetna, Alaska, offers a mixed dining experience according to its patrons. Some visitors enjoyed the homemade food and praised the friendly service, with one guest even calling it one of the best meals they had while in Alaska. Others, however, were disappointed by the service, cleanliness of glasses, and the automatic 18% tip added to the bill, with one reviewer dubbing it a "fake Alaskan restaurant". Despite the mixed reviews, many customers appreciated the hospitality and delicious food at the Wildflower Cafe, with recommendations for trying out the crab cakes and seafood chowder. Overall, the Wildflower Cafe seems to offer a cozy dining experience with fresh, homemade fare, but guests should be cautious of the tipping policy and service quality.
