"I chose the Castilla restaurant because it has a terrace and its good reviews abound. Now I understand why. From the moment we entered, the attention was exquisite. Eladio treated us very kindly and, it shows, with a lot of experience. I have found him to be a very endearing man and responsible, mostly, for the score given. The food was exquisite, it must be said. We tried the tempura artichokes and the mille-feuille, both scrumptious. All with a very careful presentation, and washed down with Toro wine, of course. Another great point for us was that they let us in with a dog. Initially I called and asked about the terrace, but at least in one area they allow dogs, something that we value very much. "If you can eat on the terraza facing the river valley, there are wonderful views. We have been here many times of the last few years and the food has varied tremendously. For the Edades del Hombre exhibit (through Oct 2016) they have a fixed menu that is a poor copy of an Argentine parillada. For 15 euros, the meal consisted of a salad of tomato and lettuce, fried potatoes and some medium quality grilled meats (1 chorizo, 4 chicken wings, and various pieces of pork) and a bowl of poor quality bbq sauce. The wine, however, was very good. But for Toro, this meal was not a good value for the money. Would only recommend for the views, and drinks."
