Overpriced, cold and mediocre service. I will never part with money to this cafe again. In the past I have waited ages for my drink as well. It’s about time they actually started working a decent cafe in Nelson airport! View all feedback.
Having eatten in many airport cafes around the world my expectations are never high. This place is probably one of the worse. The coffee took close to half an hour. The buzzer they gave us never did go off. The food was poor and the service lousy, unfriendly staff. Safe to say this cafe would not survive outside of it safe little monopoly with in the airport.
Seriously over priced food and cold beverages, and to be honest, it isn't worth the price. Not to mention the service is painfully lethargic.
Very slow coffee service, waited well over half an hour for two coffees, which we didn't even get the chance to drink as we had to leave. Even with our plane being delayed they still couldn't do a simple coffee order. Buzzer system seemed patchy at best. When I asked for a refund as we had no coffees, the two young cafe assistants had very poor customer service, and couldn't care less. Also, $12 for two coffees is not acceptable
Cafe uses a buzzer to alert you when coffee 's ready. Our went while counter staff were processing order, and immediately after seating. Didn 't go when coffees made/ready. Approached counter and asked if our coffees ready, chap looked at me like I was something he 'd scraped off his shoe. Has your buzzer gone ? Yes, twice, but not recently . I 'll check it... ...it 's working fine .Others appeared to be having similar issues. Here 's a tip: try being nice to your customers, and not treating them like they 're all a bit simple. Issues with your electronic order pagers, don 't make them feel likethey 're just a BIG nuisance. Check your other reviews, you need to lift your game seriously.
Bit pricey and limited range of food. The food that was there was good as was the coffee.
