"All-vegetarian restaurant with lots of options. The menu is only in Mandarin, but staff will help recommend some options. My partner and I shared the aubergine curry and chicken curry, both of which were delicious. The aubergine was particularly good. Close to Chiayi Station, and very well priced."

"Before I am on a bus for alishan, I went from the railway station chiayi to this inconceivable vegetarian buffet to construct my own Bento box. I could eat the sweet rainbow, and I skipped the rice, as I already had some strengthening veggies. spent all NT$72 on a delicious lunch I had on the two-hour bus ride. BYO disks to save on one-way disposable. (I would have brought my own slender if I had known that I was in a hurry to catch the only bus that ran this day!"
