This buffet restaurant is located in a very beautiful and atmospheric building next to the st. mary’s church. eating is fresh and healthy. it is mostly Chinese/Taiwan style, with some western style also. the brot was delicious, like the suppe. they even have blown veggies. it was worth the 200 TWD price. some dishes contain eggs or milk, check them with the personal before when they are vegan. $200 for a fairly limited buffet. yes, you can eat as much as you want, but for a quarter of the price I have made much better in the nearby xiang lin sushi guan.

Simple but tasty vegetables, no more and no less. I think the address on the happy cow could be wrong if you don't find it trying to cross the intersection, and there it is
I had dinner here tonight. I agree with much of what is said already. It's a serve yourself buffet. Cost was twd 200. One of the dishes contained egg. I'm not sure if things have changed since the previous review. There's an area for taking dishes and cutlery to for after eating. There's different areas to separate plates, bowls and cutlery and also food and non food waste goes separately. There's no indication though that customers are expected to wash up. The place is very nice and clean. It's a big building. I'm unsure as to whether or not this is a converted church building or if the building design has been made to make it have some sort of similarity to a church.

This place is a little jewel in Taidung. The people who run it definately make your health the number one priority, and therefore omit the MSG and grease that so many restaurants in Taiwan seem to throw into every dish. They have brown rice and you can eat as much as you want. For dinner you might have to order off a menu though, as they said the buffet was only for lunch. You even have to wash your own plate after you eat!
