"Waited for an hour. but it would say it was good. Order the wakadori (Junge Choke now) and oyadori (parents/old chicken) as I had to wait so long. Both were strongly spiced and went really well with the rice balls. Wakadori was very juicy and fleshy, with crispy skin. The spices really fall out with the Wakadori. Oyadori was my favorite chewing (Think gizzard-y texture) and the meat itself was very tasteful (very chicken-y). So the prominent taste with the Oyadori was the chicken taste itself. The skin was crispy (also chewing), but again, as I said, very tasteful. Go for the Oyadori if you don't mind chewing food. But look around, maybe 65% of customers ordered wakadori the most likely because it is easy to chew. Order both and find your favorites, but if you are an average person, two might be a bit too much."

"Pretty good Udon place nearby Ritsurin Garden. I ate their mid-sized Niku Udon but to be honest, I should have ordered smaller portion because I was already slightly full. Very local place because many workers and students will walk in and out conatantly for lunch."

"30min drive from the city (plus waiting time) but worth the effort. The driving scenario was quite good with mountains and traditional Japanese rural cities. The Udon was best tried from the 3 popular Udon places on the same day. Tempuras were crisp and delicious and the soup was also good. Of course, the noodle was also very good. You can also see that they udon noodles behind the glass."

"Very good Udon, broth is delicious, but not too rich. Noodles are great. Closes at 2:30 and was super crowded during lunchtime. Large bowl is huge, so really no need to get it unless you want to feed two people."
