Janab Hassan Haji and his brothers started their first venture, Hotel Colombo, in the erstwhile Travancore Cochin State. Hotel Colombo quickly became renowned for its authentic Malabar cuisine, leading to a Prestigious Award in acknowledgment of being one of the oldest establishments in the region. The award was presented by South Indian Megastar Mohanlal in the presence of the Honorable Chief Minister of Kerala, Ommen Chaandy. This recognition has motivated us to continue improving our offerings, building upon three generations of culinary tradition. In the year , we expanded our presence to major cities in Kerala, offering not only exceptional dining experiences but also lodging facilities - a rarity during those times. In honor of his late brother Rayees Hassan, Salim Hassan founded Park View Restaurant in Thalassery, the culinary capital of Kerala and an epicenter of Malabar culture.

In my childhood I used to eat at Parkview restaurant which started Salim's father. My favourite dish at Parkview was parotta and veg stew. What User doesn't like about Salim Hassan's Park View:
We wanted to taste the famed Thalassery Biryani during our short trip to Kannur. What we got here was a disgrace to any biryani, let alone Thalassery Biryani... I am sure that there are many other restaurants in thalassery which will be much better, but this one almost spoiled our entire trip. View all feedback.
