"I went to Denali Pub in Talkeetna, Alaska . the service was bad and the food was worse. scraps of cod with too much breading and cold fries. the waitress took our order, and I did not see her until she brought the check. While I was filling out the check she hovered around, as to see what the tip was."

"Nice cafe in Talkeetna with plenty of healthier options. Came here for breakfast this past weekend. We ordered ahead online which you can do through their website--I recommend this especially during the busy summer! Everything was hot and ready for us when we arrived. I got the not-a-breakfast burrito which I didn't ask but based on the ingredients I'm pretty sure it's vegan. It was delicious and filling. My husband got the smoked salmon bagel and really enjoyed it. Good coffee too, and my husband got their house made rhubarb soda which was great. I've been here once before just to get bakery goods and those were all great too--especially their Kimmie cookies! Someday I'll come back and try their lunch menu. Their pizza looks good too, which they offer only a few days a week in the evening."

"If I could give this more then 5 stars I would. Besides Denali Brewing (not brew pub), this is the only spot in town worth getting food from. Ingredients are fresh and dishes are tasty and inventive. I didn’t finish my meal feeling grossly full but rather just enjoyed the delicious food! Savory French toast was awesome, classic Sunday also great, and the rosemary ginger shortbread cookie was unreal. If you’re passing through town, MAKE SURE TO STOP HERE!!!!"
