The food was truly delicious and the taste was authentic and alluring to my taste buds. I have only tasted food of this magnitude only once. I will definitely return. They do not offer dine in yet. View all feedback.
What Kenya Jaskolski doesn't like about Bahn Thai:
the waiter told us that all menu items can not be made without fish sauce with taking the curries and a few appetizers. another reviewer mentioned the masamanic curry that is no longer on the menu. I had the samosa appetizer, the $6.99 for 5 of the smallest samosas I've ever seen. panang curry was good, but there's a charge of $1 when they ask for more white rice. View all feedback.
Kitchen had several vegan options, but not as many as some Thai restaurants due to fish sauce being used. However.... this restaurant has the best masaman curry i have ever had anywhere. Amazing, 5 stars. Yum. Avocado spring rolls are also amazingly good.
Update: I recently went for dinner for the first time and it was a great experience. While the prices are higher in the evening, the portions are large enough to share. My daughter and I split an order of spring rolls and tofu Panang curry. It was so good and we were stuffed. Bahn Thai is great again. Thanks to new ownership, I can wholeheartedly endorse Bahn Thai. Each meal is made fresh to order. The red and yellow curries with tofu are my favorites. Asking for mild will give the dish a little kick. I'm not brave enough, but if you want full heat, ask for Thai hot. I go almost weekly it is definitely one of my new favorite places to go.
Update: I went to dinner for the first time and it was a great experience. While prices are higher in the evening, the shares are large enough to share. My daughter and I shared a series of spring roles and Tofu Panang Curry. It was so good and we were filled. Railway Thai is great again. Thanks to the new property, I can warmly support Bahn Thai. Every meal will be fresh to order. The red and yellow curries with tofu are my favorites. After mild wishes, the court will give a small kick. I'm not brave enough, but if you want full heat, ask for Thai hot. I go almost weekly it is definitely one of my new favorite places to go.
Railway Thai is the top Thai restaurant in Tallahassee when it comes to flavor and affordability. Their curries are incredibly tasty, with generous portions and more vegetables than other Thai restaurants in the area. They recently relocated to 2531 Apalachee Pkwy, Tallahassee, FL 32301 and now only accept orders. It's unclear when they are open for service, but their menu includes five vegan options: yellow curry, panang curry, red curry, green curry, and drunk noodles, as the chef prefers not to use fish sauce in other dishes. Unlike other Thai restaurants in the city, Railway Thai's curries are packed with veggies and have bold flavors. They also offer a variety of delicious vegan appetizers such as veggie gyoza, avocado spring rolls, vegetable samosas, roasted tofu, and vegetable spring rolls. Our personal favorites include yellow curry with roasted tofu, red curry with roasted tofu, veggie gyoza, and panang curry with soft tofu. Note that rice is included with all dishes, and you can customize your order, such as requesting mushrooms instead of zucchini in the Panang Curry.
The waiter informed us that all items on the menu contain fish sauce except for the curries and a few appetizers. A previous reviewer mentioned the masamic curry, which is no longer available. I ordered the Samosa appetizer, which cost $6.99 for 5 very small Samosas. The Panang Curry was tasty, but there is an additional $1 charge for extra white rice.
