This is a true pub with a wide variety of craft beers available on tap and in bottles. They offer several delicious and affordably priced house beers, and their kitchen serves up great food. My favorite is the house weizenbier paired with garlic bread. The service is consistently excellent, with very friendly staff. The only downside is the toilets, but it adds to the overall pub atmosphere and doesn't take away from... View all feedback.
What Halkidis doesn't like about St. Vitus:
Located near Baltijaam and Telliskivi, this restaurant is somewhat hidden behind a Rimi Supermarket. Renowned for its wide array of beers and delicious rustic cuisine, our group enjoyed an assortment of dishes and were all pleased with our meals. However, the wait time for our starters was nearly 50 minutes due to only one chef on duty, and the lack of wait staff somewhat marred our dining experience. Despite these c... View all feedback.
My favourite place to eat drink in Tallinn. Very good food offering and such a great selection of beers to go through. Service was friendly but not intrusive. The location is super next to tram stop and near the Deepoo area. I recommend Grandmas Pancakes..
Discovered St. Vitus today, halfway thru my 2 weeks in Tallinn. Very few tourists come here, but it is just a very short walk north of the main train national train station. Max 500m in a straight line between the two. And it is really only a short walk from the Patkuli viewing platform. The team shown in the pic, No 1 tram to Kadriorg, passes directly in front of St. Vitus. VERY interesting quality bar with quality people here, featuring more the younger set, may mid 20s to around 40, but that's an observation based on 1 visit. There were about 30 people there at 5pm of a Thursday arvo. Food is great, nice selection of snacks and meals, I've included pics of the menu. Didn't try any alcohol as it wasn't the day or time of day for me to imbibe, nonetheless, I had a very nice grape juice, perfect temperature, and delicious lightly salted hot sweet potato chips. Perhaps check out one of the latest BBC articles on Food, talking significantly about the use of sweet potatoes in the traditional Okinawan diet, helping assist the longevity of these fine people. It's also only a short walk to the Port from here. I've included quite a few pics of the lovely, and partly unrenovated, old timber homes in a rectangle from St. Vitus. Take a walk along the streets opposite St. Vitus and really get a feel for an older style of living, probably 1700s to 1800s.
Huge selection of draught beers all sorts of it locals brews, and well known brands. Popular , busy and fun place. Beer lovers must visit.
One of my favourite bars in Tallinn! Girls who work there are always so nice and make you feel welcome. The beer selection is quite big but they are bit of a samey all the time so it's not the kind of a place where you can sample the latest beers and also they could have a bit of a vegetarian options in the menu. Small niggles. Recommended!
Stylish beer pub with a large variety of local and around the world beers from tap and in bottle
