Had a meal here for my grand daughters 14th birthday and from booking the table some months earlier to leaving the restaurant on the night of the meal everything went smoothly. Staff were excellent and the food was fab. Thank you for a great family experience View all feedback.
What Grace Collins doesn't like about San Remo:
Wasn't the cleanest of places. Was asked to order as soon as we sat down as they were busy .When the food arrived it wasn't up to much. Ive had better lasagnes from Aldi at a fraction of the price. Certainly wont be recommending or returning there. View all feedback.
Myself and 5 friends booked a table last night, and we were not disappointed. The restaurant has the same old world charm of the old san remo a few doors down (RIP) with a modern twist. The servers were attentive and knowledgeable, we had a vegan, vegetarian and a fussy eater and they all went home with full belly. The chef was polite and cordial when there was a little bit of a wait. Would recommend.
Been a few times and never had anything to complain about. Really nice honest food and restaurant just a great local Italian.
So very disappointed tonight, the food was slow to come out,forgetting the garlic bread,and although the ribs were ok,they had obviously been over cooked in the oven, but the main concern was the cannoli was over cooked and was filled with what I can only describe as frozen mince! Pasty,wheat tasting and flavourless, ****** awful—I could not eat it—and returned it I’ve been coming for many years,and it seems to get worse every time I call in
Been here before and really enjoyed the food. The ribs used to be one of the best around. This time though the food was bland. Chicken was luke warm and the sticky sauce on the ribs was more like heavy. Very disappointed.
Service was great. Ribs for starters were amazing, fell off the bone. Asked for a medium rare steak, it was well done which was disappointing. Also quite small and sauce would be better on the side. Could do with some more roasts too.
