Pelagia Trattorio has been my #1 choice in Tampa for over a decade. Fabrezzio was the Executive chef brought in by Marriott to build the restaurant from scratch. He did a great job; he went on to other Hotel restaurants in other states. The mystery is why the place is not packed every night. I was really disappointed because I even went on Saturday to edit my reservation. When I was there, it was closed. was closed. I should have a call to let me know, but no one from open table called and I was pretty embarrassed when my party had to scramble to find a place to eat without reservations on 7 o'clock on Saturday night.
