What User doesn't like about Shamrocks Ale House:
I have been here 3 times now, nothing amazing. I really enjoyed the Shepards Pie they had on special for St. Patrick?s day, however The St Patrick?s day drink was super nasty. The sports bar ambiance in good, pool tables are usually available. If looking for quick bar food it?s not po bad. View all feedback.
The restaurant had a small crowd on a Friday night, mostly consisting of locals. As a new person in the area, I found everyone to be extremely friendly. The service from the bartender was great and the owner was also around, ensuring everything was running smoothly. The food looked appetizing, although I did not try it myself. There was a good selection of drinks on tap and a unique dive bar area where you could order through a pass-through window, play pool, and smoke outside. It had a cozy atmosphere, similar to a bar at a chain restaurant, but with staff who seemed genuinely happy to be there. The TVs were impressive and the food did not seem like it was reheated in a microwave.
This is by far the best food I have discovered in Temple Terrace. As a pregnant woman, it is all I crave. I eat there four times a week. Everything from their wraps to their salads is incredibly delicious. My boyfriend loves their burgers and wings. The staff is always friendly and helpful as well. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant.
It's always nice to see the owner stop by your table to make sure everything is going well with your meal. We have been going to Shamrock's since it opened, it's right across thestreet from our subdivision. Everyone needs at least one experience with the St. Patrick's Day meal; lots and lots of corned beef and potatoes. And, of course the pitchers of green beer. The menu is large, and thus far we haven't had a bad meal ever. Burgers are great and the wings are also. My favorite is the country steak.
This place is a great spot to get away from the crazy world outside. Great food, cold drinks, and amazing people. The servers bust their ass during the rush. Managers Joe and Eric personally walk to the tables to make sure everything meets expectation. I have even seen the cooks come out to see if it was cooked the way you like. This is my home away from home!
Greatest place to eat and relax. People who rate this place bad are just not right in the head.
