The noodles were somewhat overcooked and the temperature was not as hot as I would have expected. However, the food was just about satisfactory overall and with a pot of hot chilli sauce it livened up the meal considerably. "This was such a special treat! A really fantastic afternoon tea with delicious sandwiches, scones and cakes … plenty too! We were very looked after by the two guys who run it …. They were really accommodating too as although we had booked a table, we had forgotten to specify it was for afternoon tea. They made it especially for us which we really did appreciate! It’s a lovely little find, and well deserves great reviews. Will definitely be back! So much nicer than many big hotels that lack atmosphere and serve mediocre food … this was 5 stars!!"
