Just had a great meal at this restaurant tonight. Fabulous food, good menu choices, great presentation, attentive and polite staff, cute deco. I had Parma ham and melon from the specials board, Parma ham pizza (I love Parma ham) and chocolate ice cream. Will definitely go again. Thank you so much. View all feedback.
What 1972quinny doesn't like about La Fiaba Del Mediterraneo:
14 16 friends booked for an evening. Pre ordered all starters and Mains sorted On arrival , apart from the some what panicked but lovely waiter, the owners were there and the place was empty apart from us and never introduced themselves. This was a large Pre booked party and for a 60th birthday but nothing, apart from the waiter who was obviously left alone and doing his best! I’ve eaten here before but…,, £27 for a tiny bit of fillet steak tiny) about 12 chips, 2 tiny mushrooms and a quarter of a tomato sorry but no, I could pay half that price and get salad onion rings peppercorn sauce etc from Wetherspoons and i rarely go there! No sauce of any kind offered, just salt and pepper on table. Won’t be back.
Giving this place even one star is too generous. The entire restaurant is in need of a thorough cleaning, as you can see in the photos. The salt and pepper grinders are dirty, the tables are filthy, and the ceiling could use a fresh coat of paint. The food is overpriced and tastes terrible. The only positive aspect is the friendly staff. This was our first time dining here and I doubt we will be returning. We definitely do not recommend this place.
Went here with my elderly parents who have severe food allergies and my young children. I was very worried about how they would take our dietary requirements but they were absolutely amazing about it. They were great at accommodating my children, made us feel so welcomed. The staff were some of the best i have ever had. It is my favourite restaurant I have been to in terms of atmosphere, service and accommodation. The restaurant itself is lovely. Amazing colours, extremely clean, everything is given to you as soon as you ask for it. I have seen mixed reviews on it before but I can never understand why, those people must be miserable . I don’t think I have ever had a better dining experience. This place is an Amazing hidden gem and deserves so much more attention. The food and the drinks are amazing. I had a steak and it was so soft I could cut through it with a normal knife. Absolutely lovely and such a vast variety of menu.
This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food was amazing and the service was attentive. Two of us had a starter, a main (the pizza is delicious), and one of us had dessert. We also enjoyed two large glasses of wine and a soft drink. The chef was accommodating and made a special alteration to the main course by omitting mustard. The total bill was £91, with no added service charge, leaving the tip at our discretion. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning with friends!
We saw Elvis, and had a fantastic time. Unfortunately there weren't many people, but nonetheless it was a great night. The food was amazing as usual, and the wine choice was great. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
This restaurant is truly a hidden gem that surpasses a five-star rating. The food was exceptional, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was lovely. We were completely immersed in the atmosphere and the menu was filled with fantastic dishes. The prices were very reasonable and the recommendations from our server were spot on. This is a must-visit hidden gem and my partner and I will definitely be returning. To top it off, I have never felt compelled to leave a restaurant and go to an ATM just to give a generous tip. A huge thank you to everyone here. As a side note, you must try the butternut squash and passionfruit cake. It is divine!
