"I 'm honestly baffled by all the positive reviews. This was probably one of the worst experiences that I 've ever had in a restaurant. We wanted to leave the moment we walked in but we made the mistake of staying, thinking that it can 't be this bad, considering the reviews this place has. Waiters felt extremely cold. The atmosphere was horrible. We were put in some sort of balcony where the tables were super cramped. Although the weather was more than decent, they had the plastic blinders pulled down which made it feel claustrophobic. It felt more like a canteen than a highly rated restaurant. Both me and my girlfriend got pasta and they had to be the blandest ones we 've ever eaten. Literally had no taste. The prices are not justified at all for the quality of the food. Don 't get me wrong, it was not bad in the poisonous food sense, but the ratings that this place has makes absolutely no sense. Taormina is full of better restaurants. Just don 't waste your time and money here. I also saw that the owners tend to answer to critical reviews in a very condescending way. That should tell you enough about them."

"On this day I felt dizzy as I could not find vegan food in almost all restaurants. no was the answer in most cases when I asked if the restaurants served vegan food or could prepare some. Finally we came across this place and with its beautiful terrace we were totally sold. looked down and ordered some drinks. this place has gins and at the time also had 21 bierbraut. for the food part we had to wait half an hour until they had opened the kitchen. in taormina it is very common that they open the kitchen only around 19 clock as they did here. was happy to find out that the whole menu was vegetarian and that they had vegan food on the menu, not one or two dishes, but more. the courts looked pretty and we were over the moon. the place, the atmosphere, the personal and the eating of the course really liked. I wish there were more places like this in taormina! updated by the previous review on 2019-08-11"

"Beautiful setting with a lovely terrace. Staff were a bit distracted and food rather underwhelming."
