Great, authentic restaurant in the Italian style of New York! I had spinach filled ravioli, my wife had a penne pasta dish with mushrooms and we shared a salad with walnuts, dried cranberries, mixed greens and a raspberry vinaiigrette dressing. What User doesn't like about Mondo Italiano Taos:
Waitress was good. Staff seemed friendly. Food took way longer than it should have. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana Sandwich and mine was pretty much burnt. The chicken was so dry it was hard (worse than crispy chicken), had to ask for extra marinara just to make it bearable. Don't set expectations high for this place, it's merely OKAY. Great variety on the menu, away from the tourist traps. Pizza was good, salad with apple slices was good, can't go wrong here.
Eunice service was great. Food was good, except the spinach in the lasagna, had never before, not sure I liked it so much. The prices were reasonable. We'd go back there.
The food was delicious! Except I was a little unhappy with our waitress Evie! She was very hard to understand, and I had to call her on the table again and again to drink refills or other things. She wasn't very attentive. She took our order and brought our food, but never in between. I had to ask a waitress Eunice for help and she was great! Very friendly!
La Terraza de Toas Cocina. It's New! It's Mexican food, terrace dining and mountain views. I recommend the shrimp enchiladas and carmel filled churros.
The service was quick and friendly, and the food was amazing. The kids loved their spaghetti with meatballs, and especially the gelato. The Chicken Carbonara was beautiful and tasty, and their latte was the perfect thing to top it off.
