"My wife, sister and I stopped in for lunch.... because of allergies to certain foods, the waitress suggested the seafood burrito. The shrimp, onions and scallops in the seafood burrito was burned. The waitress was called back. Because of allergies a replacement order was not made or desired. The waitress stated we would STILL have to pay for a meal that was unsatisfactory. Even when the manager , Raul, stated the same... that once a bite was taken, we had to pay. Wrong answer. This man proceeded to argue with me that we had to pay for a bad experience. I don't think so. I told him that the two meals that were satisfactory I will pay for... but I will not pay for the inconvenience of eating in his restaurant. Los Portales, in Tappahannock, Virginia, will not receive any support or patronage from me, or any others who ask my advise about a decent place to eat..."

"I almost always go after my Chinese food and it's usually very good, but this time it wasn't good at eating. I've got a lot of things and a few. the lomein was like eating pure spaghetti noodles, it did not look out or taste as if it had a sauce on it and my egg rolls were burned and hard as leathers. I couldn't even bite her or chew her. I was wasted in a round of over $23.00 because I threw it all in the garbage. really disappointed with this visit!"
