"I called here for lunch with my mother. what a great place! decor is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and welcoming and the eating is absolutely delicious and very cheap. very good menu selection. only a thought- my mother (she is 92) would always go for suppe as a midday selection, so it would be nice to see on the menu. we will definitely come back!"

"Amazing taster menu with fresh seasonal ingredients. The Hungarian dish was our favourite but they were all excellent. Staff were very friendly and informative. It is pricey but worth every penny. Posh without feeling like you had to wear a tuxedo!"

"Had lunch yesterday, nice eating, nothing frozen in itself, it was all freshly cooked and is excellent value for money. the personal is great and has looked around us well and we were not addressed as a guy. the pub itself is a beautiful place, is dog friendly and a great place to stop only for a drink while for a walk. I can't blame it and I'll return in the near future."

"We had a garlic bread with cheese starter which was lovely. The daughter had chicken goujons and chips and the wife had smothered chicken and chips and both were very nice. I had the fish and chips, the chips were homemade and very nice but the fish wasnt so good (great batter but inside was just a slimy mush). I would go here again but i'd definitely give the fish a miss."
