"Great first visit to TICB. Very happy that all products and serving materials are compostable and that they provide bins for the collection. The chocolate peanut butter was disappointing, only a few small peanut butter cups mixed. Happy to try other flavors again; green tea and honeycombfroyo sounds interesting."

"If you have ever dreamed of a happy hometown restaurant with great food and people that smile, then look no further. Most importantly, the food is delicious, and the ingredients are of great quality. The restaurant is clean and well lit with booths, tables, and a long counter. I had the best steak tips of my life, they were flavorful and made with all good cuts of meat. On a trip for breakfast I had Bifana for the first time and I am now a fan of traditional Portuguese breakfasts. Lastly I also used their catering services for a 65 person dinner and wad truly pleased with their food in terms of quantity and quality. I had at least a dozen people compliment the food. One person said it was the best meal I have ever had in this building so I will definitely keep DeAvilas on the top of the list for my next catered event. Thank you to Joy and your family for a great experience."

"Excellent service by Brooke! The staff all seemed happy like they enjoy working there,from the hostesses to the bus staff. The food was excellent. We all ordered seafood dishes, generous portions. Home-made desserts were delicious especially the Banana cream pie. Overall great experience and we will definitely be visiting again."

"Immediately blown away how much of an upbeat and friendly environment it was. I had ordered the grilled reuben, and it came incredibly fast, and I had arrived at lunchtime. it is also impressive how the things run so smoothly despite the small space. the reuben itself was great, I like that they use dark roggen. only really negatiw is the parking lot, but it works for what it has to do."

"Had dinner here for the first time last night with my cousin and I have nothing but amazing things to say! I’ve been in the industry for years and they hit 5 stars on every level for me. Food was excellent, service was informative and perfect and the owner stopping by our table to welcome us and chat for a little bit was just the icing on the cake for a wonderful night for us girls! "I was looking forward to tasting the food at this spot for a while but my excitement was short lived. I wanted to order their pasta but it was catering style (no problem), they have curry shrimp and that’s one of my favorites so I was pretty excited still but not after I ate some of it. 2 stars for the service because there’s no indication for what’s available and the person taking my order told me it wasn’t available but didn’t even bother telling me what was. If I didn’t assume they had curry shrimp I probably wouldn’t have ordered anything and walked away. Might have been best in this case because I pretty much tossed the food away after eating the shrimp. the cabbage was good, rice tasted weird, shrimp was ok, and the plantain were a disappointment."
