great, welcoming dog-friendly pub with a beautiful garden. we were located in the rooms in front of location, perfect for beautiful walks in the quantock hills. Eating drink was all excellent. I just wish I would buy my mtb as there are some great hiking trails at the top of the hill, big ground for another visit View all feedback.

I made a booking over a month in advance thinking the place looked lovely and cute which it does. Unfortunately we turned up and the tables weren't ready and when they made the tables up they didn't give us cutlery. Service was very slow and the roast was possibly the worst roast I've ever had. The roast chicken was boiled and not roasted and it was also cold. There were 5 of us who had chicken and they were all cold... View all feedback.
I couldn't resist! eating is moderate, but very expensive. the restaurant is certainly not disabled friendly. I would not recommend this pub/restaurant.
I recommend to them to put their sat-nav card reading skills on the test and this jewel in small triscombe, right at the rande of the quantock.
