"Myself and the fella needed to get out so popped in bayleaf, rang ahead and they assured us we would have a table, even though this was at 9.30pm. Very friendly owner. Lovely hot chilli garlic curry, mushroom rice and a brilliant garlic nan... Yes we both smell of garlic . Couldnt fault it. Thanks so much Will return"

"Went in to sit down and eat inside it was 6.42 and we were told the sit inside closes at 7 pm so couldn't be served . So we had take away we waited half a hour as they were doing tons of deliver orders . When we finally got them the chips weren't put on greaseproof paper so the paper was all soggy and the chips were just a load of mashed up chips"

"Just eat rapidly delivered, but instead of a double decker meal deal at £11.99, appear go have been charged £11.99 for a cold, toddlers moccasin, threatened with a salad garnish . Will ABSOLUTELY not be opening my wallet near the place again. First and last time."

"I ordered a takeaway as I have used oscars many times before but when I received it I was discounted as the fish and onion rings were very greasy and the chips were soggy not an enjoyable meal I ate it as I was hungry but won’t be ordering this food again."

"Thanks to chefs Will and Mary for delicious meals and Caitlin for great front of house service. We had the duo of lamb, which was cooked just as I asked. Succulent rump of lamb with flavoursome gravy and tasty shepherds pie. The other main was sea bass. Which was cooked to perfection and served with silky mash and a tasty sauce. Well done everyone we will be back."
