I hope you have a big appetite if you eat here as the portions are enormous! I had chicken liver pate for starter which was great, and fish and chips for main, which had lots of flavour. The atmosphere was proper country pub, lots of chatter, character, busyness, people enjoying a few drinks, kids laughing etc. We were greeted enthusiastically and with friendship, and made to feel welcome. fantastic land pub with a large beer garden! eating was on site and the service was worth the 5* even if they were smeared during our visit to lunch.
great place to only visit a drink, but eating looked fantastic, will go again definitiw.
