"Delicious food this place deserves its high ratings. Don’t worry that it’s not in the centre of town, it’s busy and lively. Make sure to make a booking on busy nights… like every Friday. The service was very good. My risotto was nice my wife’s eye fillet one of the nicest either of us have tasted for years. The accompanying vegetables also were delicious."

"The pastry is flaky and still has the taste of a pie (some bakeries made it too flaky like a croissant). The filling was full of flavour and meat. Mince pie, venison (the ingredients complement well), and the bacon egg and mushroom was all very very good. The awards they got aren't fake news!"

"Husband and I stayed three nights and ate in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. excellent chef as eating was delicious and well presented with gourmet sauces and seasoning. they trained a completely new employee crew, but they were well-intentionally through experienced, friendly restaurant staff. outdoors could do with a fidget up, but interiors is stylish"
