"Have been to Pearl several times over 2 years and it's always a delight. Friends have had the same experience and we all have to drive over a mountain range to get there. Staff are friendly and competent; the sparkling water is complimentary, it's size is warm, we can sit inside or out, parking is shared with a small very good supermarket, we sometimes walk across to the beach and food and coffee are very good."

"We were looking for a new place to have regular breakfast dates. Grindr was perfect ! Great prices and delicious breakfasts. To top the best breakfast we have had in a long time, we got a free lemon and almond cake from the stand in chef . We loved the service and the food. Great experience. Well done grinds. We will be back."

"Vegan options! Thank you for doing Tofu well... was what I've been looking for. Tofu Karaage, crunchy, seasoned well, delish dipping sauce THANK YOU! A fab Wakame Salad, crispy smashed Agrias, Tofu Ramen and a refreshing Mocktail added to the mix and made for a great Mothers Day dinner. Friendly service and we were grateful to get an early table on a busy night."

"The customer service was great and the vibe of place is cosy and welcoming. Unfortunately, the pizza tastes like cardboard and the bolognaise was very sweet. "On a recent trip to Tauranga, we needed a place to celebrate our son's birthday. This place did not disappoint! The food was delicious, the service was great and value outstanding. I called to make a reservation earlier in the day as I wasn't sure they'd be able to accommodate our group of 8 which included my 98 year old grandad who requires a walker. No problem! They also held my son's birthday cake in the back and brought it out as a surprise. I definitely would go back. Too bad we live in the US. My NZ family will be going back for more delicious food!"
