What Bud Jackson likes about Hwy 441 Diner:
CIt's a good old fashion family diner, a real throwback to the 60s. The moment you enter you are transported back in time by the decor.The food was good but not great. I had fried haddock, broccoli and applesauce. The haddock was good but salty for my taste, however the broccoli was pure mush.Our appetizer of fried mushrooms was delicious and plentiful. The staff moves as slow as possible, and have no refills. Super slow. Wife had the prepacked, no seasoning, grocery store burger, and I had the hot dog with the wrong chili for chili dogs. It soaked through the bun, and it was as bland as just having a can of beans with cooked onions and green peppers. I am a chili and chili dog lover.
