"Came into this place early evening on a Saturday and things were fairly quiet. I ordered a chicken platter with fries, and my girlfriend ordered a falafel wrap. She also ended up asking about their sauces, all of which are homemade, and available for order! They had some pretty interesting sauce flavors, from the standard sweet spicy (MUST try , to some more fruity flavors like spicy mango, spicy raspberry, to some VERY interesting flavors like an avocado sauce. The owners were AMAZING they let us sample each sauce while telling us about exactly what went into each sauce (the avocado doesn’t have any sugar! . They gave us a complimentary little plastic container of the avocado sauce by far our favorite. The avocado sauce wasn’t watered down AT ALL, very thick and full of avocado flavor. Don’t expect anything like guacamole, it’s still definitely a sauce. Back to the main food falafel was freshly prepared and fried (we had to wait a bit, which of course is expected , and the chicken shawarma was amazing. Generous portions of garlic sauce and hummus. The side salad was nicely dressed as well, wasn’t an afterthought or anything. The avocado sauce definitely gives me California vibes and I enjoyed it with the fries (although some may give me side eye for saying that . The owners are a very friendly couple, and the restaurant gave off friendly, neighborhood vibes. They recognize regulars by the voice when they order, joke around with their customers, and even talked about and offered us samples for their rice, which they suggested for me the next time I come by, which can’t be soon enough."

"The place was super clean. The staff was professional. The cakes and desserts look delicious and taste even better. This is the place to go for your favorite sweet treats. They are a little expensive, but worth the price for sure. The picture I took does not do it justice."

"How we love being regulars at our (neighbors) hometown restaurant. Amazing food, reasonably priced and superb service. It doesn't get any better. A heartfelt thank you Phil and his amazing Flamingo Staff, we appreciate you all. My favorites- Anything Breakfast Turkey Noodle Soup, Stuffed Cabbage, Phil's Smothered Chicken, Mac Cheese... to name a few. My Husband loves their Fish Chips."

"The whole experience was amazing. I traveled all the way from Kansas City. The two gentlemen gave great advice except for his beer choice but I let that slide since the name of the game food and not beer."
