"Real deal Mexican restaurant that teleported me back to Toluca. I'm an El Pastor taco freak and this place didn't let me down! You can tell this is where all the locals go so please take note of that. All of the waitresses worked the entire room and no one missed a beat! Amazing food and the prices were on point! Highly recommend!"

"Ordered a 15pc. Family meal. Got home to find 11pcs of chicken and 4 rolls in the box. Rest of the order was correct including the bag of rolls that goes with the order. Seems this is becoming the standard of service at multiple places now. Make sure to check your order before leaving."

"This was once my go to but after calling in and placing an order and it being wrong, customer was accused of being wrong instead of Hippo Cafe taking responsibility and not collecting info needed. After all the naysayers are bashing this business I was always pulling for them. Now not too sure."
