"Came here expecting Japanese curry, to my surprise the all the staff were speaking Korean. As we were too hungry to hunt for another place to eat, we went ahead and ordered the pork katsu curry and gyoza. The food was pretty good as we already anticipated that it'll be a Korean style curry but I was a bit disappointed as I have been hoping to eat Japanese style curry."

"Had a butter chicken medium and garlic Naan, sooo good. Possibly the best butter chicken I have had. I'm a Kiwi so I've had a lot of Butter Chicken. It was well presented in a take away bag, staff were friendly and efficient. You can see the kitchen when you order so you can see that the kitchen is clean and professional. Not the cheapest curry around but you get what you pay for. This place is on my list to revisit when I'm in wellington."

"It's a great place to be so many to choose. Live ambience and they can choose to sit outside or inside on a table. caveat food selection is limited and they should not expect much."

"Yummy and creative cocktails but I found the vegan options that we got (Szechuan veggies, pakoras and noodles) to be very bland. It is also quite expensive for what you get."

"We were a little disappointed that it was only at 2:00 on Saturday brunch menu, so there were limited options like lunch goes, it was very breakfast oriented. Nothing the less, they have a separate menu, with many great brunch and dessert options I had the flower Curry It was Devine! And I don't like cauliflowers. Service was a little relaxed, but I guess that's how it's most for brunch. Book well in advance for dinner."

"A huge asset to Khandallah. Really lovely, warm, cosy aesthetic you do feel right at (your upmarket) home. The menu was very well thought out, everything looked and tasted delicious. We’ve been for dinner a few times, but particularly loved the French toast for brunch. Lovely staff."
