What User doesn't like about Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery:
The beef patty was terrible. Half way through you get a bite of the meat. The cherry cake was good but too sweet. The soda was also too sweet. Overall the food made me nauseous. Even though I'm pregnant they did not allow me to sit in the regular chair. Only the high stool which was impossible to sit on at 9 months pregnant. Terrible customer service. View all feedback.
Ordered delivery twice and they keep forgetting to include my side of plantains that come with the jerk chicken order. Frustrating
I really don’t have any issue with the staff and the level of services they offer. The only thing is that the food tends to be inconsistent at times, especially the rice. Sometimes it’s hard other times it’s ok. It’s a hit or miss. But not everyone is perfect, so when the food taste good they should be credited for their effort.
This was certainly one the largest Golden Crust I been to in Tri-State area, and it certainly the worst as far as taste and quality. Supposedly I got stewed chicken BUT was like no flavor earlier in the day smothered chicken, rice and beans was just as bad no flavor no tyme, no seasoning. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. Also ordered sweet chili chicken the same bad. I want to be supportive but when I spend over $40 dollars this was totally unacceptable. I don't see myself patronizing again.
1 year later: I have only had 1 other poor experience that stopped me cold from going here. I returned recently and have been having good experiences until today. I don't know if it's shrinkflation or what but literally 4 pieces of curry chicken in a mini still seems not even adequate to suffice a child. Not consistent with recent experiences. It almost seems personal and I don't enjoy that feeling. It's just my opinion and I don't have the serving manual.As always very clean.
The chicken was anything but jerked! It was old, stale, dry and rough to chew, no taste, bland with no flavor. Highly disappointed with this establishment. You gotta do better than that.
