"My 9 year old son had a hockey tournament in Windsor and wanted to try something new to eat. We read the reviews from Souq and gave it a try. He enjoyed the food and the super-friendly staff so much that he requested that we go back when we were back in town for a baseball tournament. The food was outstanding. Sooo much flavour and big portions. The staff is wonderful. I can see why there are so many 5 star reviews. We don't get to this part of Ontario often but when we do, we will most definitely be back for more delicious food. I had an iced coffee too and it was fabulous!"

"Great location and atmosphere however, no one in our group enjoyed their drinks and while we were trying to finish the staff started piling chairs on the tables around us to get a quick start at closing (even though it was only midnight). I'm sure there are better places to go."

"Came into this place early evening on a Saturday and things were fairly quiet. I ordered a chicken platter with fries, and my girlfriend ordered a falafel wrap. She also ended up asking about their sauces, all of which are homemade, and available for order! They had some pretty interesting sauce flavors, from the standard sweet spicy (MUST try , to some more fruity flavors like spicy mango, spicy raspberry, to some VERY interesting flavors like an avocado sauce. The owners were AMAZING they let us sample each sauce while telling us about exactly what went into each sauce (the avocado doesn’t have any sugar! . They gave us a complimentary little plastic container of the avocado sauce by far our favorite. The avocado sauce wasn’t watered down AT ALL, very thick and full of avocado flavor. Don’t expect anything like guacamole, it’s still definitely a sauce. Back to the main food falafel was freshly prepared and fried (we had to wait a bit, which of course is expected , and the chicken shawarma was amazing. Generous portions of garlic sauce and hummus. The side salad was nicely dressed as well, wasn’t an afterthought or anything. The avocado sauce definitely gives me California vibes and I enjoyed it with the fries (although some may give me side eye for saying that . The owners are a very friendly couple, and the restaurant gave off friendly, neighborhood vibes. They recognize regulars by the voice when they order, joke around with their customers, and even talked about and offered us samples for their rice, which they suggested for me the next time I come by, which can’t be soon enough."

"Friendly staff, good service and the food is freshly prepared, love the breakfast burrito made with organic eggs, and the oatmeal latte is our go to with breakfast. The soups are tasty, the wraps are filling and delicious, and the desserts are divine! The Pad Thai is fresh, and the sauce is so good, we simply take it home after a long day at work, quickly sauté up our Wild Caught (Ocean Wise) Shrimp, toss and dinner is done! Thank you to the team for making good food!"

"This is not the first time we've been to this place. Always find the food good and my son looks forward to the burger of the month. Unfortunately this time around is a different story. Or family of five decided to have dinner here for my wife's birthday. We are seated promptly with my chair having a prefect view of the kitchen. Well how I wish I want seated there. First thing I noticed was the busboy or the person helping in bringing out food and cleaning tables. He was about to bring out the customers food when a few of their onion rings fell out of the plate. He just nonchalantly picked if up and placed it back in plate. No gloves no washed hands. Ok not a Big deal. Next I see the cook helper itching his nose not once but twice while handling the food. Again no gloves and did not wash his hands. Seeing this makes me wonder what we don't see. Or better yet I'd rather not see."
