"We had Sunday lunch here. It's a lovely spot. Beware the very narrow entrance to the car park. The parking sensors were freaking out . Lovely welcome and service throughout. We were sat in the bar and felt it would have been better to have been in the restaurant area but we booked last minute so you get what you give right? The food was lovely, we had roasts and desserts. Not a complaint or a morsel left on our plates. We will return soon. Parking: Tight fit for bigger cars into the rear car parm."

"We rang to book on wednesday for that evening but it was fully booked, a little later we had a call that there had been a cancellation, as we had not booked another restaurant we decided to go. A great decision we will never regret,...from the moment we stepped over the threshold. Holly the lovely waitress led us to our table, we chose our starters and main courses, marvellous to die for food, and then the coup de grace, the desserts, just heaven, it was so good we returned on thursday evening just to make sure our drinks hadnt been spiked ! wonderful stuff from Werner and his beautiful team.......Yodelayhehe"

"At this strange and frightening time we decided to just be brave after self isolating for a while and go to Torquay for the day and night. We were staying in the area so looked at the reviews for the OrangeTree.They were good so we booked, best thing we did. Lovely welcome, friendly staff, but most of all the food. We chose the tasting menu and it was delicious. Not cheap but not really expensive as it included wine with every course. I have had tasting menus before where the wine was a bit more adventurous but there again paid a great deal more. I wish we lived closer so we could eat there more but if and when we visit Torquay we would definitely eat there."

"One of the best meals I had in Exeter and the best service! Such a fun authentic atmosphere with fabulous food!! They gave us free Ouzo and Baklava, which was so generous and very welcome to a group of students! Open an extra hour on Monday night so we're done. Definitely a must see in Exeter!"
