What a lovely find! A child and dog friendly public house nestled away in a quaint little village. We popped by at around 3pm midweek and ordered the vegetarian chili and lasagne. The food was very tasty and a generous portion. The lady who served us was very friendly and helpful. What Taylorssecret doesn't like about The Sutherland Arms:
Welcoming staff .., however no one walked us to our table was told our table was “over there”.., and to order at bar when ready .., between the loud kids on pool table messing proud and that set the dogs !! barking …, !! well can you imagine .., I couldn’t hear my partner talking View all feedback.
Very nice village pub good beer and welcoming hosts. Although we didn’t eat there we will certainly be back for a meal. The menu looked fabulous.
Lovely restaurant in the countryside. Food was well portioned hot and tasty. Service was fast and friendly prices are reasonable
