"The friendly welcome in the small space is followed by a very good selection of local, northwest Tuscany specialities. This is a land where the sea mingles with the marbled mountains, so game and fish come close to be good friends. But this season is game to win, wig wild boar and handmade pastas to shine. Truffle, chestnuts and other forest findings are well utilized to make the local character a true culinary pleasure. Wine, by the glass, is of good selection , to include very basic northern Italy light wines to the Chianti Riserva which is so much needed with the loud boar . Finally, good selection of dessert, all hand made. Book in advance is advised."
