Day trip with a good friend on Christmas day back in 2017. Just to satisfy craving for foods. Made few stops. One of it was this unassuming makan place. Nestled on the bank of the Perak river that supplied the freshest udang galah or the fresh water lobster. The bowl of mee udang galah was scrumptious. Delicous. Seriously. Only regret, cleanliness and hygiene seems not on priority list of the popular makan place. View all feedback.
What John Teng doesn't like about D' Tepian Sungai Teluk Intan Perak.:
At first I thought it's closed because no customers. Maybe I was early. I ordered 300g squid goreng tepung and kailan with teh halia. RM33. Not cheap considering teluk intan is a small town. The squid a bit salty. Too bad can't see the river because the view is blocked by trees. View all feedback.
I guess this was the first underrated stall that sell with honesty. U wont disappointed. Worth the money u spent here. Plus superb scenery if u are lucky to catch the sunset view.
Two thumbs up ! But better do reservation first due to so many customers.

Walk in customers have to wait more than 1 hour to get the food served. Nice lobster though. Nice view.
