"We ordered a Club sandwich and a chicken Caesar and beer. The beer was good, the service was very good and the fries were ok. The chicken in the salad was reconstituted, not real. Dressing was too much and flavourless. Sandwich wasn't really toasted and generally mediocre. It was too much money for yucky food. Even for half the price, I wouldn't eat it again."

"Amarante is a very beautiful place to stop and digest a healthy snack easily and again on the street. There is a food area and a few tables to eat a delicious soup there, veggy paninis and wraps, fresh kolouful salads very good coffee, muffins and energy bars. Kombuchas are also available. All this at the lakeside, where there is a large park for the children. There is also a lot of parking."

"Owner Dany met us in the parking lot when we arrived and made us feel at home from the start. We stayed in a beautiful suite and then had the best breakfast of our entire trip to eastern Canada, professionally prepared by Dany 's wife Denise....We hated to leave, and are determined to come back for a two-day stay so we can explore the lovely lake area. This is a must stay establishment if you are anywhere near Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac."
