This is a hotel restaurant, which I did not know when I booked it. I selected it because of the inventive menu. We shared the branzino and the pear salad with steak. The food was good with a significant spice level, so if you're sensitive to seasoning, you should keep this in mind. View all feedback.
What Pamm Bakley doesn't like about Alter Ego:
When we came in the dining area was empty. You would think the service would be top notch. It definitely was not. It was extremely poor. The food was slow to arrive. The waitress “forgot” a salad. The flavors on some of the dishes were off. The waitress didn’t ask why some food wasn’t eaten. The cooks were on their phones the majority of the time in plain view and not wearing gloves while handling food. Highly don’t... View all feedback.
There is no hostess to check, and the waiting staff seemed angry that we asked for help. We ordered breakfast and it took over an hour to come. When it arrived, it was too cold to eat. I would avoid this restaurant.
Very cute place. Attached to the Cambry Hotel. Great food and service.
Nice hotel lobby restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining, a nice music vibe and fresh food. Just in from San Diego and enjoyed my steak salad (great steak and avocado on a mix of greens). Server Casey was especially attentive and helpful.
The food lacked a wow this is good factor. Don’t get me wrong, it was okay but not great. Not good enough for me to return.
Excellent food Beautiful establishment Service was great
