Ethiopian food is different and delicious. Great food, nice people, reasonable price and good desserts. Ask for gluten free injera which tastes better, and they offer a gluten free dessert. Check out the soup as well. Ethiopian food is usually served on a platter and people serve themselves. What Balaji Shankhavaran doesn't like about Cafe Lalibela Ethiopian Cuisine:
We were a party of 5, and we got the distinct impression that we were not really welcome. The server was surprisingly rude, considering that this was our first time there, maybe because of our ethnicity? Unfortunately it was too late to cancel, so had to suffer through the entire duration. And the food was nothing worth talking about. More annoyance than disappointment. Of course, never going there again. View all feedback.
Best Ethiopian food outside Addis Ababa. Try it !!!!!
This little place is sooooo good. The food and people. I usually come and get take out for lunch and drive 30 minutes because it's that good!!!
The food is so flavorful...the injera is fluffy and bouncy with a hint of sour idk why but it pairs really well with the tilapia stew and veggies.
Absolutely delicious! I recommend Doro Wat, Alicha Sega, and Fosolia.
Amazing restaurant! While I'm an absolute neophyte with respect to Ethiopian food, our dinner was absolutely delicious. We ordered the 4 person variety entree. Each dish on the platter was full of new and intriguing flavors. I am now on team Ethiopian Food! If trying new types of food is your thing and you have never tried Ethiopian, this is your place!
