we have selected the thirsty lion for its location on the route (for us to the airport. it has great eating, with beautiful salads and superior fishing and chips (after my man. but I just wish there was a part of the restaurant where you could concentrate more on eating and less on the bar atmosphere. but I expect a return. read more.

I ordered avocado toast with 1 poached. I got avocado toast 1/2 the order (2 pieces were burnt) TWO poached eggs. They offered to bring more which I accepted. Then it was avocado bread as bread wasn’t toasted. I was hungry so ate it. We were drinking water iced tea. Waiter wasn’t attentive on beverage service yet I still tipped 20%. Why I did not sure.
