"Amazing value for money, and excellent food and cheerful staff. Tray of chips and chicken nuggets £4.80. The kebab and chips equally good value. I would revisit this chippy in preference to any other nearby. The chips were sizeable, and full of real potato. I can give the chips 8 out of 10. If they were browner, they would have scored higher (I am a traditional chip lover as near to homemade as possible)"

"I have booked the bistro lunch for my friends 60th birthday and was disappointed by the room and it is ambiente in such a beautiful building. formica tables did nothing to improve this look! service was extremely slow and twice between the curses I had to look for the waitress. the food itself was excellent, however, and we enjoyed a wonderful three-course menu. a coworker helped me get my friend in her help and out of the building, as she was a bad parkinsons freeze and very helpful. it would be nice to think that eating was enough to lure us back, but nothing else in the experience made it worth it. so sad, we probably don't return."

"As good as any breakfast I have ever enjoyed including cruises. It was superb. The staff are delightful, nothing too much trouble. By the sheer number of customers it was obvious it was very popular. 100 recommended, if we are in the area for sure we will visit again. Added bonus free on street parking right opposite."
